Chocolate Chip Cookies

Pertama kali dlm sejarah, inilah dia...sekut cip coklat. Tetiba pulak teringin nak buat biskut. Sy memang tak berminat nak buat biskut sebab pd sy ia agak remeh.. Nak kena keluar masuk oven lg, dah la oven kecik. Tp dah teringin punya pasal, sy buat la separuh adunan..utk kashfe nye kudap-kudapan. Tp mak kashfe pun tumpang gak sekeping dua..hehee.

Korang tgk la rupa bentuk biskut ni..sepatutnya saiz dia comel2 je, ntah nape sy buat jd sebesar tapak tangan..tak comel langsung. Makan sebijik terus kenyang..hahaha. Sebenarnya sekali sekali mkn sekut ni sedap jugak. Utk sekut ni kalau kita masak 10-15min dia akan menjadi chewy gitu..mmg sedap. & kalau nak garing & rangup boleh lebihkan sedikit masa pembakaran. Menarik kan?? Apa lg, sila la cuba ya.


Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
185g butter, softened
1 cup (200g) brown sugar
1/2 cup (100g) caster sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 cups (300g) plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
200g dark chocolate, coarsely chopped

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180C. Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.

2. Use an electric mixer to beat the butter and combined sugars in a medium bowl until pale and creamy. Add the egg and egg yolk and beat until well combined. Add the flour and baking powder and stir with a wooden spoon until combined. Add the chocolate and stir to combine.


3. Roll 2 tablespoonsful of mixture into a ball. Place on the lined tray and gently flatten. Repeat with remaining dough. Bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes (or a further 5 minutes for a crisper biscuit). Remove from oven and set aside on the tray to cool completely.
