Cream Cheese Bars

Resipi kali ni masih menggunakan puff pastry..hahaha. Yg ni plak sebab eksited jumpa puff pastry yg saiz besar, selalunya yg kecik2 je. Bila dah beli, tak tahu plak nak buat apa..bising plak enche somi kalau beli buat pekasam je. Kalau nak buat savoury guna puff pastry ni mcm baru je lg..so teringin nk mkn yg manis pulak. Biasa la tekak ni, mengada2..kejap nak savoury, kejap nak manis. Nasib buat sendri, kalau cerewet pun xpe..huhuu

Ni adalah antara dessert yg paling mudah utk disediakan & sedap juga. Cuma tidak seswai utk org yg sedang berdiet..sy pun dgn rasa bersalah mkn benda ni. Tp bars ni sgt sedappp..sgt sukar utk menolak godaan nya. Pastry yg rangup ditambah dgn creamcheese yg lemak2 manis tu..sedapppp nya. Makin tebal la lemak2 tepu kat badan ni *haihhh*. Tp kan, kalau ada tetamu tetiba nak dtg boleh la buat ni, sbb sangat mudah & cepat utk membuatnya. 


Cream Cheese Bars

Ingredients:
2 sheets (8") instant puff pastry  
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese  
1 cup white sugar  
1 teaspoon vanilla extract  
1/2 cup margarine, melted  
1/4 cup white sugar  
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 

Step:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease pan.
2. Press one sheet of the puff pastry into the bottom of the prepared pan. 
3. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. 
4. Spread over the puff pastry.Place the second sheet of puff pastry and lay them on top of the cream cheese layer. Do not press down. 
5. Pour the melted margarine over the entire pan. 
6. Combine the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the top.
7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is crisp and golden.
