Demam chiffon dah melanda di sini..hahaha. Semalam sy ada bgtau yg sy buat 3bijik chiffon dlm 1 malam sebab terlalu eksaited kan..inilah salah 1 nya..sweet corn chiffon. Dengar nama pun dah menarik kan. Sy suka mencuba chiffon yg jarang org buat..dlm erti kata lain agak pelik & lain dr yg lain. Sebab chiffon2 lain tu dah biasa kita rasa & dah boleh agak rasanya. Kalau yg jarang di buat ni, rasa mcm eksaited sgt nak cuba & rasanya.
Utk pengetahuan korang, chiffon jagung ni telah terjual lebih 10 bijik dlm masa seminggu. Tak tahu mcm mana nak cerita kesedapan nya..lebih baik korang cuba sendiri. Seperti biasa bahan2 nak buat chiffon ni tersangat la mudah utk didapati. Yg sy tak suka 1 je..nak tunggu dia sejuk sangat lama..sy dah tak sabar nak rasa, tp dpt hidu je. Geram nye la, rasa mcm nak keluarkan je dr loyang panas2 tu. korang jgn buat mcm tu ye.
Utk buat kek chiffon ni, loyang nya tak perlu di gris (owhhh, sy memang sgt malas nk gris loyang..yucksss). Kalau kita griskan loyang, kek tu tak dapat nak panjat nanti..bak kata sifu la, sy pun mengikut je. Lg 1, sejukkan nya secara terlangkup, atau terbalik..supaya kek td tidak turun & jd padat. Itulah antara petua yg sy tahu tentang chiffon ni. Jd skang, korang boleh la mencubanya.
Sweet Corn Chiffon Cake

Ingredients:
4 egg yolks
20g sugar
50g corn oil
85g self- raising flour
75g sweet corn cream
4 egg whites
70g sugar
Method:
1. Hand whisk egg yolks and sugar till sugar dissolved.
2. Add in corn oil and sweet corn cream, mix well.
3. Add in flour and combine well, set aside.
4. Beat egg whites over high speed till foamy ( 1min for KA mixer at speed 8).
5. Slowly add in sugar, beat till soft peak form (2-3mins for KA mixer at speed 6).
6. Take 1/3 portion of egg white mixture and use hand whisk to mix with egg yolk mixture till light.
7. Fold the balance of egg white mixture into egg yolk mixture, combine well.
8. Pour cake mixture into baking pan and bake at pre-heated oven at 160c for 40min or adjust to your oven as every oven is difference.
